Hey blogging world,

Im back! Life has been pretty crazy these past two weeks.

Im adjusting to life with a new mommy and daddy.

They seem to love me quite a bit. They are always wanting to play.

I have been working on this whole not going to the bathroom in the house. Sometimes, I make a mistake and think that the shower or mommy and daddys bed is an acceptable place to go to the bathroom.  Im still learning!

Mommy took me to work with her one day so that I could meet all her students. It was quite the adventure. I have never got so much loving and I was sure pooped by the end.

Everyone keeps commenting how big my paws are. Something about me getting to be a big dog one day.

I had an accident a week and a half ago. Someone accidentally stepped on my foot. So it was a soft cast for me for a week but I am ok. My auntie sure did feel bad for stepping on me.

I like to bite things. It is getting to be a problem. But my nose gets flicked whenever I bite something I am not suppose to. I don’t like that very much.  I am quickly learning to just stick to my chew toys.

Although.. sometimes i really like to help my mommy with grading.

love story part 7

The day he said it.

December and January flew by. I honestly cant remember a lot from that time. I remember going home and missing his birthday, talking everyday during winter break and counting down the minutes until I got to see him again.

Now so that you know, it takes me a while to fully open up to people. I am very social and like to meet new people, but to truly open up and love… it takes me a while. So one night ry and I were talking and we got on the conversation about love and where we were going in our relationship.. the DTR talk. At one point ry said, “al, I am scared to tell you I love you. I am almost positive you wont say it back.” I looked at him shocked..  I mean, he was justified in saying that. I had only said I love you to one other guy and it took me 3 months to say it back to that guy. But the weird thing was, the reason I was shocked was because I was so sure I would say yes! I told him that he should tell me how he feels and we left it at that.

It wasn’t until the next night when he took me on a nice date. Then at my door as he kissed me goodnight, he took my face in his hands, looked me in the eyes and said, “I love you alex.” I looked back into the eyes of this boy and knew that I loved him back without a shadow of a doubt. I didn’t make him wait. I said it right back knowing this boy was special.

Lots of excitement.

The past two weeks have been a ton of chaos and fun. A lot has happened!

we have been looking for a house for 2 months now. Up until this weekend, we have put in three offers. All of which did not work out. It was frustrating and hard to stay optimistic. Then this weekend, we went and looked at two houses. One was gross and the other was perfect. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen and a GREAT backyard… all in our price range. It was a perfect starter home for me and ry. So we put in an offer and I held my breath. That night, we got a call and WE ARE HOMEOWNERS. I am so excited. It is the perfect place for ry and I to start our family. I will post some pictures and talk more about it soon.

 Hannah came to visit! My sister is in town and it has been so fun. She came on Thursday and will be here through my graduation on the 26^th. She has already come to school with me, helped us pick out our house and went and saw safe haven with me. Its been a busy few days and I have loved having my sis here with me.

 We are living with our in-laws. Ry’s sister has a basement and she has so generously allowed us to live with her while we were house hunting. It has been quite the adventure moving in with her and her two boys. It has been fun but an adjustment. Ry and I are so used to just the two of us and now it is my sister-in-law, two nephews, her two dogs, our little cutie Harley and now my sister. She has been so nice to let us stay and I will be eternally grateful for her generosity.

  I  GOT A JOB!  This year, I have been doing an internship for my teaching license. It is a full time position in a classroom, where I am a teacher, teaching all day, going to all the school meetings and planning my own curriculum but…. Getting half a teachers salary until I officially graduate. This year has been amazing and I have grown so much as a teacher but it is nice to know that next year is set and that I am going to continue to teach and grow. I am lucky enough to be able to stay at my same school, something very rare for an intern and I will be moving from the 2^nd grade to the third grade. My students were so excited to know that I was following them up to the next grade. I will be teaching a different class but I will still be with them. I feel so blessed and am so excited for this opportunity.

Well that’s it.. crazy busy and loving every minute of it. These next few months will continue to be crazy but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have my best friend by my side and with him, everyday is amazing.

I have an excuse

Anyone missed me? I have been gone for like 2 weeks and i apologize for that. We recently moved and in that move, we lost one precious thing… internet. It has been weird because I thought I would miss it more than I do. It is just something that I use while at school to check emails. It has been nice. But that is why I have been absent. Plus school started back up, so I have been busy. I hope you haven’t missed me too much and I promise to try to be better about writing and scheduling posts =)
